Michael Bromley
Born 1955 in Darjeeling India, the son of a tea company doctor, Michael Bromley and his family lived in the Himalayas and the jungled grasslands of West Bengal. The Bromleys migrated to England and then to Canada where Michael’s father practiced family medicine in Moose Jaw. His mother was a high school art teacher.

In 1985 Michael Bromley received a Bachelor of Fine Art from the University of Regina, majoring in printmaking. Venturing out into computer graphics he worked in publishing and manufacturing, producing desktop publishing, information graphics, information design, 3D CAD and technical illustration.

From 1985 to 1998 Michael pioneered the use of computer as a fine art medium.
Now he is doing exclusively oil on canvas.

Michael Bromley has long been a student of history especially 20th Century conflict, technology, science and architecture. But now he just reads cookbooks.
