| Ken Dalgarno |
Ken Dalgarno is a Canadian artist from Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. He is a self taught visual artist with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Saskatchewan (1986). He has also studied at the University of Regina.
Ken is
an avid member of the arts scene in Saskatchewan and involved with such groups as; Arts in Motion, the Moose Jaw Museum & Art Gallery and the Canadian Artists Representation (CARFAC). He has taught art classes at the MJMAG and was one of the founding
members of the Bridge Artist’s Co-op in Regina and Gallery 53 in Moose Jaw.
Ken Dalgarno has exhibited in numerous group and solo shows across Western Canada and North Dakota. His paintings are in private and public collections across Canada,
South Africa and Italy. Dalgarno is the provincial winner of the 2007 Organization of Saskatchewan Arts Councils (OSAC) "Showcase of the Arts". His "Sculpted Landscapes" series will be featured in a solo tour across Saskatchewan in 2008 and 2009. He was
also awarded the Arts Saskatchewan Award in 1991.
