W.H. Webb

W.H. (Bill) Webb is a well-known Alberta landscape artist. Originally an art teacher who pursued a career in educational administration, he changed careers in 1990 when he had reached the zenith of his calling as an educator holding the position of Chief
Executive Officer. This bold move was prompted by the strong belief of his wife, Arlene, in the artist’s abilities. This belief has been shared by major art galleries and collectors across Canada, in the United States and in the United Kingdom where the
artist is now represented.
A recent honour was to have a painting accepted into the Official State Collection of Canada; this painting now hangs in the nation’s capital in Government House, Rideau Hall, in Ottawa.
Since becoming a full
time professional artist, W.H. Webb has held numerous solo exhibitions.
