Nancy was born in Regina, Saskatchewan. She moved to the Okanagan in 1974 bringing with her a sense of this wonderful large and open space. The energy and drama of that early experience is reflected in her painting today.

She has always wanted to paint and made the commitment to the profession after she moved to Kelowna, B.C. She studied at Okanagan College then became an active member of the Federation of Canadian Artists. She continued to study with workng professionals through immersion workshops. However, it has not daunted or dampened her spirit to create unique and independent images that reflect her personality and values. It has reaped great personal reward and earned her awards through a number of juried exhibitions.

She is excited about the landscape and the aesthetic elements that make it so interesting - grassy hills to the ethereal butterfly are examples of images she creates.

Nancy paints as an impressionist - using stunning acrylic colour that ranges from warm earth tones to the dramatic pure pigments of red and blue. Her brush and knife work are individually hers.

Nancy's work appears in collections in Canada and overseas.
