Born in the beautiful Okanagan Valley, this vibrant Canadian artist celebrates life through her still life, floral and animal depictions. Armed with a palette knife and unafraid of using bold color, Bachmann spends countless hours perfecting her uniquely
distinctive works of art. Growing up among natural orchards and raised in a large German, Italian family, she manages to find lots to be inspired and grateful for. Encouraged by a family member, she enrolled in art classes at Okanagan College in the
early eighties then followed up in Vancouver at the fine arts program at Langara College. Bachmann eventually found her way back to the valley, and paints full-time in her studio/loft overlooking the abundant orchards of her youth.
