Carl Schlademan is an exceptional Canadian artist who paints in acrylics and oils. His works, inspired by nature and informed by his travels to San Jose (California), Giverny (France) and across Western Canada, are engaging and evocative. Through his masterly use of rich colours, perspective, light and shadow, he creates for the viewer a familiar sense of place and time, whether the subject is dramatic evening skies, sweeping prairie landscapes, luminous water lilies or clusters of sun-ripened pears.

Schlademan’s work is well known nationally and internationally, and can be found in private and corporate collections throughout Canada, the United States, Europe, China and South Africa.
